The fatal shooting took place at the Houston Farmers Market, which is located off Airline Drive close to Sylvester Road, around 4:30 in the morning on June 6.

The two criminals were captured on camera attempting to take a golf cart until 36-year-old Damon Price intervened. At that point, according to the police, one of the suspects pulled out a revolver and started shooting at Price, striking him at least four times before they fled.
Four bullet casings, according to the authorities, were found at the site.

Price’s duty, according to Houston Police, was to inspect the delivery vehicles arriving at the building. Police say the two teenagers got in through an open door. Security footage also shows the suspects rummaging through the farmers market merchandise.

The 14-year-old was taken to the police station by his mother, according to the police, so he could turn himself in. At the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center, he is being held at the moment.

The 14-year-old is expected to appear in court for the first time on Monday, according to officials.
