Jamie Wilson, a resident of Lone Tree, Iowa, and a beloved mother, daughter, and sister has sadly passed away.

She was announced dead through a social media publication that read “My friend now has gained her wings and is in Heaven.

I know she has already seen my dad and called him old fart! They loved to tease each other all the time. Gone way too soon. Jamie Wilson. I will forever miss you and love you. I will not tell you goodbye, rather until I see you again.”

Jamie Wilson passed away from injuries sustained following a tragic motorcycle accident. The incident was made known by her brother Andy Wilson in a GoFundMe page he created to raise money to help with Jamie’s medical bills.

On Saturday night, Jamie was a passenger in a motorcycle accident and was seriously injured. She was placed in the ICU with a breathing tube after suffering a broken ankle, broken pelvis, broken elbow, broken collarbone.

They were able to get the internal bleeding stopped. She is very lucky to be alive and, but has a very long road ahead. Sadly Jamie succumbed to her injuries. The fundraising page organized to raise $20,000 has raised the sum of $10,362 at the time of this report.

Jamie Wilson was a native of Iowa City, Iowa, and later move to Lone Tree, Iowa in 2016, according to her social media profile. She attended Iowa City High School and was a graduate of the University of Iowa.

She was employed as a manager at Hy-Vee. She was loving and caring mother to her beautiful daughter JoJo, and was loved and cherished by her brother Andy.
