Bert Susanka Long Beach CA Death:- Bert Susanka, a guitarist and musician from Long Beach, California, was a member of the Ziggens band. He was announced dead by articles on social media. On August 17, 2024, a Saturday, Bert Susanka passed away.

For a year and a half, Bert has fought gallantly against ALS without sacrificing his optimism, wit, or faith. Knowing that he would soon be able to talk with God on their behalf, he reached out on social media to everyone in need of prayer in his final days. He promised to always keep everyone who sought out in his prayers and thoughts.

Bert left behind a loving and giving legacy that comprised many tiny deeds of kindness, many of which were found out by friends and family or via heartfelt gratitude from people he helped. These demonstrations of his humanity and commitment to making the world a better place.

Bert founded The Ziggens in the late 1980s while working at a sunglass store on Westminster Mall. The band became a mainstay of Southern California music thanks to its unique fusion of cowpunk, surf, rockabilly, punk, ska, and country influences.

He released two kid-friendly CDs through Jelly of the Month Club, a solo album titled Onward Christian Slater, and a Bandcamp album titled Space Junk, which he co-wrote with Bert Susanka and the Astronaut Love Triangle.
