Lake Charles Bicyclist Killed By Driver:  Lake Charles, Louisiana On Wednesday, a motorist struck a 52-year-old man who was riding his bicycle and he died.

A Chevrolet pickup was turning right from Broad Street into Kingsley Street when it struck Kevin Rogers, a resident of Lake Charles, who was riding his bike across the street, according to the police.

After being transported to a nearby hospital, Rogers succumbed to his wounds there. Sgt. Andrew Malveaux, a spokeswoman for Lake Charles Police, stated that standard toxicological testing were carried out, and the investigation is still underway.
