North Clay Grade School student died in ATV accident – Celebsity


Louisville, IL:- A 12-year-old boy has died following a deadly car accident that happened on Friday night. The victim has been identified as Caide Weidner.

According to Illinois State Police Troop 9 reports, North Clay Grade School student Caide Weidner of Clay County passed away from injuries sustained following an ATV (side-by-side).

The ATV (side-by-side) occurred on Friday night at approximately 10:00 pm. State Police, along with the Clay County Sheriff’s Department and Clay City Fire Department, were called to County Road 1150 North, just east of 2175 North near Clay City.

Tragically, during the incident, 12-year-old Caide Weidner was ejected from the vehicle and suffered a severe head injury. He was quickly taken by ambulance to Clay County Hospital and later airlifted to a hospital in St. Louis. Caide was later pronounced dead at the hospital from his injuries on Sunday afternoon.

The North Clay Community came together for a prayer vigil on Saturday evening in front of the grade school, with about 125 people present to show their support.

To help the Weidner/Rinehart family with financial burdens, The Fair Lady and the Krazy Snow Kone and Candy Factory will be set up at the Louisville Collision Center tonight from 5 to 9 pm. Half of all sales, as well as 100% of the tips received, will go towards supporting the family.

North Clay Elementary/Junior High School is a public school located in LOUISVILLE, IL. It has 392 students in grades PK, K-8 with a student-teacher ratio of 12 to 1. According to state test scores, 10% of students are at least proficient in math and 15% in reading.

Funeral arrangements for Caide Weidner are pending at the McGriff Funeral Home in Louisville.
