Casey O’Connor Latham NY Death, Christian Brothers Academy CBA Albany Baseball Coach died from cancer – Celebsity


Christian Brothers Academy CBA Albany Baseball Coach Casey O’Connor has sadly passed away. He died after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday 15th June 2024 at the age of 48 surrounded by his beloved family at his residence.

He was confirmed dead through a post that said “Rest In Peace to CBA Baseball Coach Casey O’Connor. Coach O’Connor fought long and hard, coaching right up through this baseball season.”

Casey’s strength and determination were an inspiration to all who knew him. Last year, Casey was recognized with the 2023 Mary Ann Raymond Donnelly Fighting Spirit Award by the American Cancer Society at the annual Coaches vs. Cancer Basket “Ball.” This award celebrated his resilience, courage, and unwavering spirit in the face of adversity.

Casey is the beloved husband of Pamela Curtis O’Connor. He is the devoted father of Jake O’Connor and Casey Rose O’Connor. He is the much-loved brother of Jimmy (Leigh) O’Connor.

Casey is the uncle of Avery Kay and Ozzie O’Connor. He is the son of the late James A. and Deborah O’Connor Jr. Casey is the stepson of Michele Sheehan. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Casey’s family on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m., at Christian Brothers Academy, 12 Airline Drive, Colonie.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning at 11:00 a.m., at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Latham. Interment will be private at a later date.
