Chelsea Jackson Death:- 1-year-old child, mother died after drowning in Caldwell Co. Creek. The victim has been identified as Chelsea Jackson and her child.

According to reports, Chelsea Jackson, an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) at Piedmont Medical Center EMS, and her child passed away in a drowning accident. The incident occurred in Wilson Creek in Caldwell County Saturday night.

York County Department of Public Safety Communications released the following statement:

“Like so many in our community, we are saddened by the loss of Piedmont Medical Center EMS member, Chelsea Jackson, and her precious child.

Our thoughts and prayers will continue to be with their family, friends, and co-workers, as we know this loss will be greatly felt throughout our community.”

On July 20, at approximately 6:30 p.m., emergency personnel were dispatched to Wilson Creek in Collettsville in response to reports of a person who had drowned.

Officials have stated that high-angle rope systems were utilized to successfully rescue three individuals who were submerged in water.

As soon as the three individuals emerged from the water, the first responders attempted to revive two of the individuals, but they were unable to respond to their attempts.

Sadly, Chelsea Jackson and her child, who was only one year old, both passed away at the scene of the accident due to their injuries. The Piedmont Medical Center Emergency Medical Services employed her as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).

Chelsea Jackson’s obituary and funeral arrangements will be released by her family.
