Cherrie Mahan Missing: Woman claimed to be Feb. 22, 1985 missing victim on social media
Cherrie Mahan Missing:- The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating after a woman claimed on social media to be Cherrie Mahan, who went missing nearly 40 years ago. Cherrie was 8 years old when she went missing after getting off a school bus in rural Butler County.
According to the police, the woman left a voicemail, and investigators tried to reach her using the phone number and email she provided. Although she has not contacted the police again, investigators were able to obtain her fingerprints. An initial review revealed that they do not match Cherrie’s. If the woman reached out to the police again, they stated that they would continue to investigate her claim.
