The WBLL family has announce the death of Anthony with great sadness on a social media post. For many years, Anthony Bartel has sponsored and managed teams in our league. Beyond just being a coach, Anthony served as a leader, mentor, and real friend to everyone in the WBLL community. He encouraged players to reach their full potential both on and off the field by believing in their abilities. It will be impossible to fill the emptiness left by his untimely death. On and off the field, however, Anthony has touched numerous lives, and those individuals will continue to carry on his legacy. He has made incalculable contributions to the league, and they will all continue to be inspired by his memories.
