Death: Jeff Vrabel Poland, OH, just married wedding services, owner has died, community mourns


We regret to notify you of the untimely passing of Jeff Vrabel Sr., a former leader of Squadron 15, Sons of the American Legion, and a former national vice commander. He was a true friend and contributed to the current situation of our Auxiliary. He was a real-life illustration of what it meant to support our soldiers. Please don’t forget to pray for his wife, Mary, children, Jeffrey Jr., Kenneth, and Phillip, as well as their families, mother, sister, and extended family. We sincerely apologize and want you to know that you have our love and support.

Unfortunately, Jeff Vrabel, a great businessman and dedicated public servant from Poland, Ohio, passed away too soon. His legacy is one of love, laughter, and unwavering devotion. The community was horrified to learn of his unexpected death, and friends and family are having a hard time coming to terms with losing such a brilliant guy.

Concerning Jeff Vrabel

From 1975 until 1983, Jeff Vrabel attended Byzantine Catholic Central, where his commitment to academic success was evident throughout his time there. After laying a solid academic foundation at Poland Seminary High School, he spent 1985–1987 perfecting his specialized skills at Mahoning County Joint Vocational School. He attended the DeVille School of Business at Walsh University from 2011 to 2013 in an attempt to advance his education. From 1987 to 1990, he attended Youngstown State University. There, he developed the profound commercial acumen that would become the hallmark of his career.

Jeff’s Professional Journey

Jeff Vrabel’s career, including several businesses and responsibilities, demonstrated his extensive skill set and unwavering dedication. He worked as a Supervisor and School Bus Driver for Transit Service Inc. in Struthers, Ohio, from August 1996 until June 1999. Next, he relocated to Lisbon, Ohio, to serve as the Coordinator of Grounds, Transportation, and Facilities at the Columbiana County Educational Service Center. He demonstrated exceptional leadership over his 13-year tenure by managing facility operations, grounds maintenance, and transportation logistics with unwavering dedication.
