Death; Jesse Sala, Robert Morris University student died on June 11
A Robert Morris University student passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024. 21-year-old Jesse Sala of New Eagle, Pennsylvania, was a senior pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He would have graduated in May 2025. A cause of death was not released, and the circumstances surrounding the passing are unknown.

As stated in the family obituary, Jesse graduated with honors from Ringgold High School in 2021. He was devoted to his Dairy Queen gang in Charleroi. Jesse was more than simply a shining example at Robert Morris University; as a rising senior, he was a remarkable individual who had a significant impact on the campus community.
He demonstrated an unwavering dedication to his academic pursuits and his leadership roles within the college community. Jesse was the President of the Residence Hall Association, Vice President of the Class of 2025, and Lead Community Advisor in the Office of Residence Life. He was an active member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the Association of Future Accountants, the National Society of Leadership and Success, and the RMU Honors Program.
Jesse Sala Funeral Plans
On Friday, June 14, 2024, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM, friends may visit the Frye Funeral Home, located at 427 W Main Street, Monongahela. On Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 9:30 a.m., the funeral home will have funeral prayers. The Revs. Kevin Dominik and Thomas Kadlick will co-celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Andrew the Apostle Parish, Monongahela. The burial will be at Monongahela’s Sacred Heart Cemetery.
