Doey Choi Death: Australian golf player Doey Elizabeth Choi & William Brown died in Greenacre motorcycle accident


Sydney, NSW:- 24-year-old Australian golf player Doey Elizabeth Choi and 26-year-old William Brown died in a deadly motorcycle accident involving a car in Sydney’s west. According to reports, Doey Choi and William Brown were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident from their injuries. The crash occurred in Greenacre.

What happened in Greenacre?

Emergency services responded at 7 PM to a crash at the intersection of the Hume Highway and Worth Street in Greenacre. The collision involved a Toyota Corolla driven by a 25-year-old man and a motorcycle, resulting in the car flipping over. The driver of the Corolla was critically injured and taken to Westmead Hospital. The motorcycle was part of a convoy from the Sydney Motorcycle Community Group heading towards Mrs Macquarie’s Chair earlier in the day. The driver and the motorcyclist are believed to be close friends.

Police are appealing for anyone with dashcam footage to contact Crimestoppers.

Doey Elizabeth Choi, born on February 12, 2000, has been a prominent figure in the Australian golfing community. She is based at the Concord Golf Club and coached by Dean Kinney. Choi’s career highlights include being a member of the 2018 NSW Women’s Team and achieving a career-low round of -6 at the 2019 Australian Ladies Classic – Bonville, where she finished 4th.
