The Landcruiser’s 52-year-old female driver was taken to the hospital in critical condition as well. It is thought that three people are currently in stable condition, while two people are still hospitalized in serious condition. Five ambulances and two critical care paramedics were among the many resources needed for the incident, according to Dr. Steven Rashford of the Queensland Ambulance Service.

“This is a very high-impact crash involving five patients,” said Rashford. “All patients suffered a combination of life-threatening injuries including internal bleeding and fractures.”The circumstances surrounding the incident and whether speed had a role are being looked at by the Forensic incident Unit. It was not unusual, a local told 9News, to witness cars rushing through the neighborhood.

“There is risk here when turning the bend and coming down. And I’m not sure what the answer is,” he uttered. A woman claimed that when she heard the crash, she was getting ready for bed. “Just an almighty boom, I was laying in bed almost asleep and just ‘boom’,” she explained.  We hope and pray for their beautiful speedy recovery.
