Iowa Amber Alert: Lindsey White abducts Ophelia Barton since June 11 -help locate

According to local authorities, Ophelia Barton, 15, is the subject of an Iowa Amber Alert because it is thought that she was abducted in Iowa City. Anyone with knowledge is urged to call 911 right away. The amber alert said that Ophelia was last seen in Iowa City and that her abductor is believed to be 42-year-old Lindsey White. It did not elaborate on the details of the kidnapping.

White is accused of operating Ophelia in a blue 2014 Jeep Compass Sport registered with the Iowa license plate LIU044. They are reportedly on their way to Nichols in Muscatine County. Ophelia is a fifteen-year-old Caucasian girl with brown hair and hazel eyes. She is five feet tall and weighs eighty pounds. She was wearing a Disney top with short sleeves and red shorts when she was last seen.

White, a 42-year-old Caucasian female, with auburn hair and green eyes. She weighs 138 pounds and is 5 feet, 5 inches tall. Her friendship with Ophelia took a while to become known.
