Jack Fortune Bridgewater, MA Death, 23-year-old man died in Middleborough car accident
Jack Fortune, a resident of Bridgewater, Massachusetts, passed away on Monday after his pickup flipped over into a marsh and struck a tree. The crash happened at around 11:40 a.m. on Fuller Street, between the Middleborough and Halifax town boundaries, according to the police. First responders reported that a white 2015 GMC truck slammed into a tree and toppled into the lake.

Authorities in Fortune said that the driver was ejected and found in a small brook next to the road. It appears that the vehicle was traveling swiftly prior to the crash, according to the officials. Despite the greatest efforts of the Middleborough Fire Department divers to perform a water rescue, Jack Fortune was declared dead at the spot. Fuller Street was closed to traffic at the Halifax and Middleborough town lines. Drivers should seek out other routes.
