Jewell Efird Norwood, NC Death: Wee Care school student has died, loved ones mourns

Jewell Anslee Efird, 4, of Norwood, has died suddenly. She passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, in the afternoon. The cause of death was not disclosed by her family.

About Jewell Efird

Daniel and Melissa Gardin Efird of Cabarrus County welcomed Jewell into the world on July 26, 2019. She was a Wee Care graduate from 2024. She always the brighter side of life and showed empathy with everyone that was sad or pained. She was a peace loving child and brought joy to the heart of so many children and adults alike. She brightened and brought excitement to every space. She will be missed deeply by her friends and family.

Obituary Details

It has been announced by her family that her funeral services will take place at Silver Springs Baptist Church on Sunday, May 26, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. Pastor Dusty Laney and Rev. Mark Little will preside, and burial will take place in the church cemetery. Before the church service, from 1:30 to 3:00, the family will host friends.

Hagan Efird, Jewell’s sister; Rickey and Sonya Efird, her paternal grandparents; Wade and Agnes Gardin, Edward and Alma Jewell Hudson, and Wayne Efird were among the people who passed away before Jewell.
