Junisha Niclasse Miami FL, Woman died in shooting in North Miami Beach

The deceased victim of Friday night’s fatal shooting in North Miami Beach has been identified as a 20-year-old woman. Around 8:20 p.m., the event happened close to 163rd Street and Northeast 22nd Avenue. At the Marathon gas station and McDonald’s at that address, police discovered two victims. Authorities verified that one victim—now known as Junisha Niclasse—was killed and another was wounded and sent to a neighbouring hospital.

Junisha Princess Niclasse was a resident of Miami, Florida and a native of Brooklyn, New York, according to her social media profile. She went to Miami Union Academy. Authorities said on Saturday that the victim who survived had undergone surgery and was on the mend. Witnesses said that while police and paramedics hurried over to assist, one of the victims was sitting in front of the McDonald’s.

A black Mercedes with gunshot holes and broken glass was seen in a roped-off area on scene footage. Although they witnessed a man drive up to the gas station and run inside the McDonald’s screaming for help, witnesses claimed not to have heard any gunshots in the parking lot. The motive and the identities of any suspects have not been disclosed by the police. The inquiry is still on.

Junisha Niclasse obituary and funeral arrangements will be released by the family at a later date.
