He was confirmed dead through a Facebook post that reads “Kevin Viau was not only a wonderful man, he was an extraordinary father and stepfather. Life can be so cruel I wish I could write a huge text to describe all the sweetness, love, kindness etc this man had but right now I can’t.”

The goal of the account wad to raise the sum of $10,000 but as at the time this report was made, the sum of $5,051 has been raised with the help of 63 generous individuals.
A statement from the fundraiser reads “Dear friends, families and community, it is with immense sadness that we share the news of the sudden death of our brother-in-law Kevin Viau in a tragic road accident that occurred Tuesday, June 4 in the evening. He leaves behind his beloved partner Vanessa Lamarche, his little princess as well as his two stepchildren aged 10 and 11.”
