Sam and Mitchell Ellis loved their son Knox Lane Ellis very much. Knox loved cowboys and rodeos with all his heart. He loved the thrill of the sport and the lively culture that surrounded it.

He was just as passionate about American football as he was about rodeo. He played both sports with the same level of commitment and zest.

Knox was a bright light for everyone who knew him, not just because of his hobbies. His genuine warmth and friendly personality had a special way of making any place feel better.

Knox was able to make people laugh and feel good in an instant, whether it was through his quick wit or his genuine kindness. Being with him reminded me of the simple happiness and real connection that make life so wonderful.
