Matthew Collins Obituary

Matt loved cars, really loved them. He could dissect an issue or rebuild an automobile for hours on end. Matt has most recently shifted his interests to technology, using his knowledge of automobiles to diagnose and fix vehicles all over the world. Gift-giving was his passion, and he enjoyed selecting the ideal present for his loved ones. Although Matt’s daughter Lydia touched many lives, she was his pride and delight. He loved nothing more than to indulge her with outrageous gifts or take her for a ride on his motorcycle. He loved to engage her in his obsessions.

Running Matt’s Auto Service with his mother Mary, Matt and Mary shared a unique closeness from working side by side every day. He was often heard asking, “Mudder, do you want a hug?” even though they enjoyed challenging one another. He really was a mom’s boy. A later date will be established for Matt’s visitation and funeral due to the circumstances surrounding his passing.
