Colorado:- Two adults and two juveniles were transported to an area hospital following a deadly small plane accident that happened in Arvada, near Oberon and Carr. According to reports, one of the victims identified as Melissa Brinkmann, a staff at Healthcare, Anthem Inc. and Accenture died after the crash while her son and others sustained injuries following the incident.

The crash occurred at approximately 9:30 a.m. Emergency crews responded quickly to a report of a small plane crash in Arvada, near Oberon and Carr, which resulted in injuries to two adults and two juveniles who were taken to the hospital. The aircraft, a single-engine Beechcraft 35, had taken off from Centennial Airport and was en route to Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport in Broomfield when it went down.
About 10-15 minutes into the flight, the plane experienced engine trouble. Despite the pilot’s attempt to land on a roadway, the aircraft crashed in a residential area. Witnesses reported hearing the crash and saw the plane hit a tree, and burst into flames, and firefighters extinguished the blaze, preventing it from spreading to nearby structures.
Hazmat crews addressed the fuel spill. The crash caused damage to a red pickup truck and scattered debris over the area. Authorities closed Carr Street for the investigation. All four injured individuals were on the plane and are in serious to critical condition. Firefighters later cleared the wreckage by cutting the plane and burning the remaining fuel.
