Michael Mosley: Popular TV Presenter Goes Missing on Greek island of Symi

It was reported by the Police that on Wednesday, that Mr. Mosley walked to the island’s center after leaving his wife on the beach. A police spokeswoman informed BBC News that his phone was discovered in the residence where he was staying with his wife, who had reported him missing.
The 67-year-old broadcaster is well-known for shows like I’m A Doctor and Trust Me on the BBC and other popular programs.

Officers on the island asked the Greek fire department in Athens for assistance after they were unable to locate Mr. Mosley. On Thursday at 14:00 local time (12:00 BST), firefighters from the neighboring town of Rhodes arrived in Symi. After completing his medical studies in London, Mr. Mosley became a trained physician, but for the past few decades, he has worked as a journalist, author, presenter, and documentary filmmaker.
“We are supporting the family of a British man who is missing in Greece and are in contact with the local authorities,” a Foreign Office official stated.
His television work has won accolades, such as an Emmy for the BBC science program The Human Face, which looked at the science underlying how people perceive beauty.

His co-star on Trust Me, I’m A Doctor, Dr. Saleyha Ahsan, responded to the “shocking news” by saying she was “praying he is found safe” and feeling “sick with worry”. Jeremy Vine, a presenter on BBC Radio 2, posted on social media, saying, “I’m praying this lovely man is found and thinking of Claire and the whole Mosley family.” Vine has previously highlighted Mr. Mosley.
The One Show’s host, Alex Jones, expressed worry that “our friend” had vanished at the beginning of the show on Thursday.
“During this hard moment, our thoughts are very much with his wife Claire and the rest of his family. We’re hoping for more good news,” she continued.
