Oakland, California couple and co-owners of Principal at Hope Action Change Consulting Peggy Moore and Hope Wood tragically passed away.

They were announced dead through a social media publication that read “Beyond words, filled with tears and honestly still shaking right now.

Very sad to have to share that Peggy Moore and Hope Wood were killed last night in a fatal car accident that killed two other people and injured another. This is the only article I can find at the time from close friends who posted.”

A head-on collision that occurred at Pala Road and just east of Horse Ranch Creek Road resulted in the deaths of four individuals. It was stated that a fifth individual had survived the incident and was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

Wednesday, May 10, 2024, at 11:21 p.m., it was reported that it had occurred. There were two automobiles that collided head-on, a grey Chrysler 300 and a white Jeep Gladiator, according to the information that has been acquired.

A man who was there at the incident speculated that the gray Chrysler 300 might have been traveling in the westbound lanes in the eastbound direction.

The Jeep was half enveloped in flames, while the Chrysler was completely consumed by the flames itself. The SR 76 was closed for 4 hours. On scene were Calfire, NCFPD, CHP and San Diego Sheriff’s.

Hope Wood was a native of Moreno Valley, California, and a graduate of Valley View High School. Hope studied Sociology at UCLA and also obtained a Master in Education at UCLA Center X.
