Phil Fleming Jasper, IN has died. The cause of his death has not been made known to the public as at the time of this publication. This paragon of excellence was announced dead on several social media posts. His death has left his community and family with devastated hearts and pain that will be very difficult for them to recover from.

Who was Phil Fleming to Color Guard?

Bidding farewell is never simple. It’s the hardest to say goodbye to a man who raised several mentees and encouraged them, who believed in them and gave his time and effort to support them. He affected SO many lives, and for that they are immensely grateful for the life he provided to Color Guard. Prayers for everyone who will be affected by this loss and know that they are not alone in thanking the Lord for Phil Fleming. They will always cherish the memories they have of him and are very grateful for the time they spent with him recently, sharing their family and guard.

More About Phil Fleming

Phil Fleming was deeply committed to the Indiana High School Color Guard Association, as anyone who knew him will attest. He was a mainstay of that community for almost 40 years, serving as a teacher for multiple Indiana groups in addition to participating in marches. For 33 years, Phil oversaw the color guard at Jasper High School! In addition, he served on the IHSCGA Executive Board for a long period and was committed to helping young people use marching arts to change their lives.
