Member of Shattered Souls RC Scott Morin of Millbury, Massachusetts has sadly passed away. He died after a motorcycle accident leaving those who knew him heartbroken, The news of his passing was known through a publication made on Facebook on Wednesday 5th June 2024 that said “RIP MY FRIEND Scott Morin My prayers go out to his family and friends. Stay strong”.

How did the accident happen?

The Worcester County District Attorney’s Office released a press statement acknowledging the unfortunate event. Detailing the grim occurrence, the release stated that the motorcyclist, yet to be formally identified, met his fate shortly before 10 p.m. near the vicinity of 183 Mendon St. (Route 16). What started as an ordinary night ride turned into a harrowing ordeal, culminating in a devastating loss.

In the aftermath of the crash, emergency response teams swiftly mobilized to the scene. The injured rider was swiftly airlifted to UMass-Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, where valiant efforts were made to save his life. However, despite the best endeavors of medical personnel, the man succumbed to his injuries, underscoring the gravity of the situation.

From Westcott Road to Hammond Road, a stretch of the thoroughfare was cordoned off for several hours.
