Shane Sellner, of Mankato, Minnesota, passed away. Shane Sellner, a respected sales representative at Rambow Inc. and former baseball player at Southwest Minnesota State University, tragically passed away suddenly following a medical issue. His friends, family, and the Minnesotan communities he touched—Mankato, Willmar, and New London—have all been profoundly impacted by his unexpected death.

About Shane Sellner

Shane Sellner, a resident of Mankato, Minnesota, was well-liked and well-known for his athletic ability, dedication to his work, and involvement in the community. Rick and Traci Sellner adored their son Shane Sellner, who was a loving parent. On November 10, 1995, he was born. He enrolled at Southwest Minnesota State University (SMSU) in 2014, having completed his studies at Mankato Loyola Catholic High School, with a major in sports management and a minor in coaching.

Shane demonstrated his athletic prowess while he was in high school and college. At Mankato Loyola, he excelled in a variety of sports, setting records and taking home several honors. Throughout his baseball career, Shane was named an all-conference player four times and an all-city selection twice. His stellar senior year saw him hit.529 with three home runs and 24 RBIs, setting a school record for career batting average. In addition to being a great baseball player, Shane was also a gifted football and hockey player who captained his teams and was named honorable mention in all three sports.
